About the Artist
In 2002, John Warmath retired from his 30 year career, picked up a paint brush and embarked on a new, exciting adventure. He has always enjoyed travel and photography, but never before attempted creative art. With the encouragement of his wife Ann, his family, his friends, and California artist and art collector, Richard Enfantino, John began to share his art with others.
Since that time, he has produced numerous paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. In his travels, he still enjoys taking photos and enhancing black and whites with a color tint giving them a new dimension. The quality of John’s work has been recognized, is being collected, and is now available at several retail outlets as well as through the Internet.
John works out of his home studio and especially enjoys the time he spends painting on his backporch in Jackson, Tennessee.
